About Me

Welcome. My name is David Kandráč, and I am a Roma consultant, researcher, and linguist with over 15 years of experience across education, health, social care, and the legal sector. As a native speaker of Romani with rare full literacy, I specialise in unmediated research, interpreting, cultural consultancy, and professional training. My work is grounded in lived experience and strengthened by academic achievement, including a First-Class Honours degree, a Postgraduate Diploma with Distinction, and forthcoming doctoral study in Roma Education. I have supported NHS Trusts, universities, schools, local authorities, and legal teams across the United Kingdom, helping professionals engage more effectively, respectfully, and confidently with Roma communities — particularly Slovak-Roma families. At the core of my practice is a commitment to accurate representation, inclusive systems, and sustainable change.
